The House of Angostura teamed up with Pedestrian TV to host ‘Selfish Saturday’ in Melbourne. It was a one-day self-care festival which gave 1,500 guests the entire day to be, well, selfish and focus on their own physical and mental health.
The House of Angostura served up a series of bespoke takes on the classic LLB; helping guests get one step closer to mastering the art of Smug Sundays. No hangover and no regrets from the night before.
Flex Mami (DJ, MTV Host, beauty blogger), Dan Gregory (HOA Australia Brand Ambassador), Hayley Dixon (Jose Cuervo Tequila specialist) and Eve Speciall (lifestyle influencer and wellness enthusiast) discussed shifts in drinking culture and ‘better for you’ options when navigating a night out and the next morning.
Tanya Mah, Angostura’s Australian Brand Manager, said: “The partnership between The House of Angostura and Selfish Saturday helped us educate millennials and Gen Zs on mindful boozing and how to enjoy both low ABV and non-alcoholic serves when navigating a night out.”
Mah added: “With over 5,000 serves sampled, a dedicated speaker stage and our ‘Better Mix Bar’ with a ‘Bitter Ping-Pong’ activation, we were able to really showcase both Angostura bitters and Amaro di Angostura in the iconic lemon, lime and bitters and refreshing Amaro di Spritz serves.”
