This rosemary whiskey sour cocktail is a tribute to the most beloved Seabreeze Hotel of Nightcliff 1947-1974, created by Andrew Mander-Jones of Dom’s Bar & Lounge in Darwin, NT.
Seabreeze
Ingredients:
- 1 egg white
- 60ml Makers Mark bourbon
- 30ml fresh lime juice
- 30ml rosemary sugar syrup
Directions:
- Put all ingredients into shaker over ice
- Shake vigorously
- Strain then dump ice out and shake again without ice
- Fine strain contents into a rocks glass with single large ice cube
- Garnish with angostura bitters and a stick of lightly singed rosemary
