A new nightclub has opened in Kings Cross, with Moroccan-inspired Maali coming from the team of hospitality experts behind Sinaloa and more recently, Eros.
The venue features two large bars with experienced bartenders to cater and serve a variety of drinks and cocktails, while the spacious dance floor and state of the art light and sound system will help punters to forget their troubles and dance the night away.
Owner, Ussi Moniz Da Silva, said: “I wanted to create a safe place for people to experience the excitement of nightlife the way I remember it. I hope Maali can bring back some life to the Cross and get people out and having fun again.”
Maali, located where the old Candy’s Apartment once was, comes alive on the weekend with two weekly events for patrons to enjoy depending on what their hearts desire.
On Friday, special guest DJ’s, including some of Sydney’s favourite local and touring artists from across the globe. And on Saturdays, Maali’s impressive roster of resident DJs play house, disco, techno and everything in-between to keep guests glued to the dancefloor.
Both nights will kick off from 8pm into the early morning. There will also be a Marakeesh happy hour from 8pm-10pm with luxurious cocktails on offer such as $12 Patròn Watermelon Margaritas and $12 Bombay Sapphire Gin Cocktails.
