Recipe: Furry Koala

This special cocktail from behind the bar at Brix Distillery in Sydney has an important backstory. After thousands of koalas were affected by the recent bushfires, Brix wanted to do something to help. So they created this cocktail, donating one dollar from each purchase to the Koala Hospital, in support of the amazing and tireless work that’s being done to help our furry friends in times like these.

Furry Koala

Ingredients:

  • 30ml Brix Spiced
  • 15ml Cinnamon syrup
  • 30ml (1 shot) Coffee
  • Topped with PS40 Wattleseed Cola
  • Flaming cinnamon stick to garnish

Directions:

  1. Add the Brix and cinnamon syrup in a wine glass with ice
  2. Top with cola
  3. Finish with a shot of coffee floating on top (effect produces two layers)
  4. Garnish with flaming cinnamon stick
