BARS&clubs’ new digital optimised magazine is now live, with the Partica platform offering readers a new and enhanced viewing experience.
This is the first issue of BARS&clubs created using the Partica platform, which optimises the magazine for digital viewing – making it perfect for reading on mobile while enhancing the reading experience on desktop too.
Inside the July/August issue of BARS&clubs, you’ll find a number of features from some of the industry’s top names, including an opinion piece from Fred Siggins who argues – somewhat controversially – that food and cocktails do not belong together.
Other features include a Tiki cocktail masterclass with Joe Sinagra, an American whiskey crash course with The Clock Hotel’s Glynn Firth, as well as a look at the latest in bitters and syrups and how you can use them in your bar.
On the beer side of the equation, Jeremy Sambrooks takes a look at the hoppy darling of the modern craft beer world: the India Pale Ale (IPA).
We also shine the spotlight on the Polish vodka Zubrowka, and wrap-up a number of inspiring bar stories from Australia and worldwide, including a bartender exchange program and an all-Australian gin bar.
You’ll also find all of our regular sections: the latest bar-related news, a couple of minutes with the industry’s newest faces, and the history of cocktail classics like The Bramble.
