Christmas in July is a much-loved Australian tradition, as we try to replicate the cold Christmas fun enjoyed by so many people in the Northern Hemisphere. Gin might not be the first spirit that springs to mind when crafting a winter cocktail list, but on the Bars and Clubs cocktail menu we share some winter cocktails inspired by @warnersgin Christmas Cake Gin.

@hicksonhousedistillingco has launched its new limited-edition Harbour Bridge Gin Series, which will see a new gin released every year in the run-up the iconic landmark’s 100-year anniversary in 2032. The inaugural release of the Harbour Bridge Gin Series commemorates the historic turning of the first sod in the Bridge’s construction, which happened in 1923, and to celebrate the launch, Hickson House Distilling Co is offering consumers the chance to win one of three Ultimate Sydney Harbour Experiences with every purchase of Harbour Bridge Gin online or in-store. The experience includes a Harbour Bridge Summit climb for two, a Hickson House distillery tour, and a $150 dining voucher.

Several Australian bars have been named in Tales of the Cocktail Foundation’s Regional Top 10 Honourees for the 2024 Spirited Awards, which celebrates individuals, products, establishments, media, and industry luminaries from across the world who continue to inspire the global cocktail community. The innovation keeps coming from the team at @cape

The innovation keeps coming from the team at @capebyrondistillery, with the release of a new expression of its award-winning whisky, a whisky that has matured in casks that previously held @brookiesgin Macadamia and Wattle Seed Liqueur. The Mac Liqueur Cask Whisky blends tradition and innovation to produce a whisky with tasting notes that describe a milk chocolate, cereal sweetness and buttery macadamia palate. The ex-bourbon casks are initially filled with Brookie’s Mac Liqueur, which gives the distillery its Barrel Aged Mac, they are then filled with Brookie’s mature single malt whisky to add further depth and character to the whisky 🥃
