Melbourne’s newest late-night cocktail bar is set to open in Goldie Place as live music venue Jasper’s opens its doors later this month.
Owner Jasper Lai says he hopes the elegant 1920s-themed interior, signature cocktails and extensive gin, whisky and wine menus will prove a strong attraction to consumers.
“Jasper’s is unique, and full of history. It is an amalgamation of the new and old, and has been curated for traveling professionals, top-tier corporates, and intellectual creatives to gather and serendipitously network, drink and celebrate the art of Jazz and hospitality,” he said.
“We’re excited to officially invite Melbourne music lovers and professionals to visit Jasper’s, and come together for an exclusive, once-off grand opening to celebrate what will truly be a spectacular occasion.”
The live music is also a draw card for the new bar with jazz musician James Morrison announced as an exclusive performer for the venue’s official opening on Saturday, 23 March.
Morrison will perform two live sessions throughout the evening, and be followed by residency band Shuffle Club, with the venue promising “an impressive, in-house after-party” from 11pm. Jasper’s is located at 14 Goldie Place, Melbourne, Victoria 3000.
