Gold Coast’s well-loved Atrium Bar at The Star Gold Coast has officially reopened in a new location, with a new look and a new cocktail menu.
For more than three decades the Atrium Bar has been a Gold Coast institution, and now it’s back and promises to deliver on the Gold Coast’s endless summer lifestyle and carefree spirit.
The impressive new Atrium is a timeless destination bar that honours the fun, playful energy synonymous with the OG venue—but with a fresh new twist.
Guests can look forward to an innovative cocktail menu with drinks such as ‘The Bowie’, a sweet and sour concoction with apple liqueur and lemon inspired by the one and only David Bowie, ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’, with vodka and hints of passionfruit and mango, as well as the ‘Blossom Martini’ with gin, lychee and cherry.
There is a wide selection of craft and premium beers available too, as well as a thoughtful wine list featuring fine local and international drops.
The food menu showcases seasonal produce focusing on platters and plates ideal for sharing. For larger groups there’s an antipasto board with a selection of cured meats, grilled vegetables, olives, feta and focaccia and a Australian cheese platter including brie, blue and cheddar, with dried fruits, quince and crackers.
The entertainment promises a mix of DJs and popular live bands on rotation Thursday through Sunday.
The new bar was designed by the Queensland studio of the internationally-renowned architecture and interior design practice, Plus Architecture, who used locally sourced and recycled materials to bring their vision to life.
Atrium Bar is now open from 4pm to late, seven nights a week, with live entertainment from Thursday to Sunday.
