For the first time in more than a decade, internationally celebrated mixologist Agostino Perrone will make an appearance in Melbourne for a one-night-only guest shift.

Following his appearance at Dean & Nancy on 22 on Thursday 10 April as part of the Maybe Cocktail Festival, patrons of The Lounge at Society will have the opportunity to experience Agostino’s cocktails on Monday 14 April.

Agostino, Director of Mixology at London’s Connaught Bar, is a prominent figure in the international mixology scene, having been named Industry Icon at The World’s 50 Best Bars 2022 and Best International Bar Mentor at Tales of the Cocktail 2023. Since opening Connaught Bar in 2008, he has led the bar to global acclaim, landing a spot on The World’s Best Bar list in 2020 and 2021.

In collaboration with Highland Scotch whisky distillery The Dalmore, Agostino will present a specially curated menu with whisky at its core. Melbournians will have the rare chance to experience a signature Connaught Bar serve, served alongside a reimagined Manhattan, a highball and a surprise cocktail from Agostino’s personal repertoire.

On the evening, Agostino will be joined by Society’s Director of Beverage, Agostino Schiavo. The guest shift is one of several in Society’s ongoing series of international bar collaborations, designed to make the venue a destination for visiting talent and create a platform that connects Melbourne’s bar scene with the global stage.
