Tales of the Cocktail Foundation (TOTCF) has announced its APAC Regional Top 10 Honourees for the 2025 Spirited Awards, including 11 Australian bars.
Since 2007, the Spirited Awards have celebrated the venues, people, products and media that make significant contributions to the global cocktail community, recognising the incredible talent in every aspect of the industry.
This year, several of Australia’s most esteemed bars have been named in the Spirited Awards APAC Regional Top 10 Honourees, including Double Deuce Lounge in Sydney and Caretaker’s Cottage in Melbourne, both of which appear in the Best International Bar Team and Best International Cocktail Bar categories.
Other Australian honourees in the Best International Cocktail Bar category include Above Board and BYRDI in Melbourne and Maybe Sammy in Sydney.
Maybe Sammy’s sister venue Dean & Nancy on 22 is the only Australian honouree to feature in the Best International Hotel Bar category, while its newer sister venue Little Cooler is listed in Best New International Cocktail Bar alongside Bar Sumi in Sydney and Goodwater in Melbourne.
The Waratah in Sydney and Bar Bellamy in Melbourne have also been named honourees in the Best International Restaurant Bar category.

The Spirited Awards will take place on Thursday 24 July in New Orleans during the TOTCF conference, held in New Orleans from July 20-25.
