Paramount Liquor’s bi-annual Future Proof forum will return to Brisbane on Monday, 7 April, bringing the city’s hospitality workers together for an evening of enriching conversation with industry leaders and networking opportunities.
After the success of the forum held at The Lussh in Woolloongabba last year, Future Proof will take over the Fish Lane Precinct and Southside for an evening of drinks, discovery and discussion designed especially for on-premise attendees – offering unique insights from the tastemakers shaping the industry.

This year’s Brisbane event will be our most dynamic yet, bringing together the best in the business for a night of insight and inspiration.”
The event will feature two expert panel discussions hosted by Jane Ryan, as well as interactive masterclasses and immersive supplier experiences, highlighting emerging trends, career progression, business innovation and new product development.
The first panel topic, Business Legacies, will see David Flynn (Fanda Group), Peter Hollands (Frogs Hollow, Alice Bar, The Alliance Hotel) and Patrice Beckmann (Funlab) take a deep dive into building long-term success, attracting top talent and fostering customer loyalty.
Later, Carmen Hartwich (Brown-Forman), Jason Williams (House Made Hospitality) and Louella Matthews (Sommeliers Australia and Trippas White Group) will share the stage for a panel discussion on Mastering Your Craft, discussing education, career pathways and overcoming industry challenges.
William Grant & Sons and Buffalo Trace Distillery will both host interactive whisk(e)y masterclasses, including unique whisk(e)y tastings paired with canapés. Meanwhile, suppliers will showcase the latest beer, wine, spirit and mixer releases. Attendees will also have the chance to win $3000 in an exclusive competition.
Future Proof Brisbane will mark Paramount Liquor’s largest-scale venue collaboration with Fanda Group (Southside & Kiki, Rick Shores, Norte Restaurant & Sueno Rooftop), elevating the event’s service and hospitality experience.
