As gin continues its massive growth trend, one service looking to take advantage is a new monthly gin subscriptions service, the Gin Society.
The Society aims to showcase premium small distilleries — whether it be craft, local, international or something a little different — with gin lovers and enthusiasts looking to explore new and unique gins.
Founder Andrew Burge said: “We love a good gin. It’s what inspired us to establish the Gin Society. We wanted to create a space where we could curate and share some of the world’s finest artisan gins with a community of like-minded gin enthusiasts.”
Each month, Gin Society members, for AU$95, receive a full-sized bottle of artisan gin along with a copy of our custom magazine, Gin Journal, delivered directly to their door. Members will also be invited to attend exclusive and special gin-centric events.
Gin Society launched in December with Italian gin Rivo. A small batch, family-run distillery, RIVO is a fresh, full-bodied gin that combines Italian grain alcohol with hand-foraged botanicals, such as thyme and lemon balm, from the meadows surrounding Lake Como, where they are based.
Gin Society’s soon-to-be-distributed pick for January is Dry Island Gin. A unique limited-run collaboration between two highly reputed and award-winning gin distilleries: popular Australian distillery Four Pillars and Sweden’s Herno.
