Archie Rose is expanding its Tailored Spirits Range, with the launch of Archie Rose Tailored Whisky, which will enable bars, and customers, to create their own individual Australian Single Malt Whisky.
Tailored Whisky was previously available by the cask, but the new single bottle offering will give you the choice of three individual 100 per cent Australian malts, which can be tailored to create a whisky for your venue.
That trio of flavour profiles will soon be expanding to six, to give customers a wide choice of possible whisky combinations that will be tried and tested through Archie Rose’s individual malt steam process.
The starting three malts will be the NSW Pale Malt – offering a classic orchard and tropical fruit flavoured profile; Chocolate Malt – that boasts deep notes of dark chocolate, Porter beer and coffee; and the distinct Native Stringybark Smoked Malt – with smoky notes of Aussie campfire and prosciutto.

Archie Rose Tailored Whisky will join its gin and vodka counterparts as part of the Tailored Spirit collection and will initially be available exclusively online. Customers will have a simple and streamlined tool to create their own personalised combination of malt flavours to be then produced by the Archie Rose team and shipped directly to their door.
You will also have the opportunity to customise the bottle label itself, with creative colour and font combinations adding an additional element of customisation.
Master Distiller, Dave Withers said: “Our goal with Tailored Whisky is to democratise the opportunity for our fans to step into our shoes and design their own individual bottle of whisky just how they like it through an easy online tool and the ability to ship their whisky anywhere, as we do for Tailored Gin and Vodka.”
With only 1300 bottles available for purchase in the first four months, Tailored Whisky is now available through the Archie Rose website and dispatch will be approximately three to five days from purchase.
