NTIA to host reopening webinar tonight

With New South Wales and Victorian venues on the cusp of reopening as we continue to move quickly towards the required vaccination rates, thoughts begin moving to the process of reopening and what it will mean for night time economies.

With this in mind the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) is hosting a Zoom webinar, which will see CEO Justine Baker talking to her UK counterpart, Michael Kill about the lessons from the UK’s reopening, that can be learned and implement here.

The NTIA said: “Mike has relentlessly pushed for recognition and stability for the UK night-time economy – the UK’s fifth largest industry – challenging government policy and lobbying for long-term reform while simultaneously supporting industry operators and creatives.

“Mike will share his views and experience on a number of highly-relevant topics as Australia follows in the UK’s vaccination and reopening footsteps, including COVID passports, government wages support, the night-time economy labour crunch, live events insurance and – if we’re lucky – dancing.”

The webinar will be held at 5pm tonight, and you must register your attendance beforehand – head to the NTIA’s website to register.
