Fashion designer Alexander McQueen is the inspiration for four new cocktails at The Douglas Club.
The Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street has partnered with the National Gallery of Victoria to celebrate the opening of the exhibition “Alexander McQueen: Mind, Mythos, Muse”.
The Hilton’s Douglas Club tasked Australian bartender of the year Nick Tesar to make four cocktails inspired by the work of Alexander McQueen. The cocktails will be available for the duration of the exhibition.
The Deliverance is a bitter and sweet whiskey-based creation. The Evolution & Existence is styled after the gin sour, and has a non-alcoholic counterpart in the Mythos. The low-alcohol option is the Muse, a whiskey-based spritz featuring Gospel Solera Rye and Marionette Orange Curaçao.
