Iconic Beverages is running the Tito’s Food for Friends initiative in Australia, with free meals for hospitality workers in Melbourne and Sydney.
The global program from Tito’s Handmade Vodka has been created to bring free meals to hospitality workers and anyone else affected by the recent lockdowns. Iconic Beverages has teamed up with four venues in Melbourne and each will provide 100 free meals for collection over this weekend.
The same initiative will come to Sydney in the coming weeks, once daily case numbers start to ease and it is safe to offer the free meals.
Dean Terranova, Founder of Iconic Beverages Australia, told Bars and Clubs: “As a former Hospitality worker of over 10 years, and someone who still works very closely with this community I am grateful for the opportunity to help support staff and business owners struggling through this continuing pandemic.
“We would like to thank the four Melbourne venues for helping us curate some wonderful bespoke meals for this initiative and of course, the wonderful team at Tito’s Handmade Vodka in Austin Texas, for their keen willingness to be involved.”
Hospitality workers, and those impacted by the lockdowns, are welcome to collect one of the 400 meals available this weekend, Saturday 31 July or Sunday 1 August. The four venues taking part are:
- Fancy Hanks American BBQ Restaurant
- Silverlake Social
- White Oaks Saloon
- The Que Club
Just head to the Iconic Beverages Food for Friends website and complete the registration form to get your name down for one of the meals.
