World’s 50 Best Bars has launched a new award open to any bar, anywhere in the world – giving bars who may not have had the opportunity to feature on the prestigious list an opportunity to showcase their innovation, creativity and identity.
The Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu Award is open to all bars across the globe and requires a bar to submit a current menu and supporting materials.
Each menu will be judged on the following criteria: ‘Design and Layout’; ‘Storytelling’; ‘Innovation’; ‘Range of Drinks’; ‘Sustainability’; and ‘Communication of the Bar’s Identity’.
The announcement of the new award category comes soon after World’s 50 Best Bars revealed that it will return with a live event this year, with the ceremony taking place in London on 7 December 2021.
Entries for the Best Cocktail Menu Award category are now open and can be submitted via the The World’s 50 Best Bars website.
The deadline for entry is Wednesday 1 September, with a shortlist of the top five entries to be announced on 5 November. The winning bar will be revealed during the ceremony itself on the evening of 7 December at London’s iconic Roundhouse.
