New Kings Cross addition Arms Length, a day-to-night café and bar, opened its doors in early August fronted by dynamic sister duo Rebecca O’Shea (ex-Rockpool Dining Group) and Rosie O’Shea, promising to become the new neighbourhood hangout.
The drinks selection focuses on local Australian drops, and award-winning mixologist Nick Tesar is the creative mind behind the seasonally changing cocktail menu. One of his creations hot off the menu is the Apricot Manhattan, a playful take on the classic cocktail.
Apricot Manhattan
Ingredients:
- 40ml Gospel Solera Rye Whisky
- 10ml Cinzano Rosso
- 10ml Marionette Apricot Brandy
- One dash Angostura Bitters
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass
- Stir with ice
- Strain into a coupe glass
- Garnish with a cherry
