Proof Creative’s Senior Bar Consultant, Charlie Ainsbury, picked this cocktail as his favourite from the menu of Hobart’s Mary Mary.
Whisky Highball
Ingredients:
- 50ml Tasmanian whisky (frozen)
- 90ml Two Metre Tall Brewery sparkling mead
- 2.5ml Fresh lemon juice
- A spear of ice (a long ice block will work)
- Garnish: herb of your choice (Mary Mary uses wattle leaf)
Directions:
- Add whisky and lemon juice to a chilled highball glass
- Add ice spear or long ice cube
- Top with sparkling mead
- Garnish and enjoy
