Cocktail lovers on the NSW Central Coast have cracked their Christmas present early this year in the form of a new cocktail bar at Woy Woy.
Located upstairs at the recently refurbished Bayview Hotel, Frankie’s Rooftop offers punters the perfect combination of best experience drinks and beautiful but comfortable decor.
The new venue is the brainchild of Jordan Harris of the Harris & Narvo Hotels group. Speaking on the creation of Frankie’s Rooftop, Harris said he wanted to move the dial towards premium drinking experiences on the Central Coast.
“I wanted to create a rooftop bar with high end cocktails to primarily attract the female crowd that might not feel comfortable in the more “pubby” atmosphere downstairs,” said Harris.
“The drinking venue experience on the peninsula is changing big time. Ettalong has Bar Toto and Umina has Margarita Daze, but Woy Woy has been a bit slow on the uptake until now.”
While the new bar opened just in time for silly season, there’s nothing silly about this little gem’s back bar. With 40 premium whiskies alone, the artfully selected spirits range forms the back bone to a banging cocktail menu. And a two page wine list will have vino connoisseurs rightfully impressed too.
Nathan “Stretch” Bradbury is the brains behind the bar and the cocktail list and it’s really something to behold. The star of the show has to be Bradbury’s The Death Flip, a creamy combination of secret ingredients with a special shout out to Chris Hysted-Adams of Melbourne’s Black Pearl.
Other notable mentions are the craft beer selection including Young Henry’s Newtowner, Sierra Nevada, Two Birds and White Rabbit. It’s any wonder the bar is not bursting at the seams with the quality selection of drinks on offer. Frankie’s Rooftop is on a mission to make their mark on the coast and set a new benchmark with quality drinking experiences.
Frankie’s Rooftop is located at 2 The Boulevarde, Woy Woy. Opening hours are 12pm-12am Wednesday through to Sunday (11pm close on Sunday).
