This week, the Australian public have had the chance to taste-test the cocktails created by the Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition top three.
For the entire first week of December, 21 venues across Australia have added the finalists’ cocktails to their menus ahead of the Legacy final in February; they’ll be available until this Friday (8 December).
James Irvine, Vini Wang and Zachary Mynott have battled it out against Australia’s best bartenders since July to make the top three, being judged against their creativity and the ability to create a timeless cocktail.
“Now in its fifth year, BACARDI Legacy has seen a number of unique cocktails created which are now permanent items at some of the best bars in the world,” said Loy Catada, Brand Ambassador for Bacardi.
“Legacy attracts the best bartenders from across Australia and we are really proud of the three finalists and what they have created. We are even more excited to allow Australia to test them before the Australian final in February!
“The winner will then go on to represent Australia in the BACARDI Legacy Global final in Mexico City in May 2018.”
