Mr. Black and Three Bottle Man in Circular Quay are converting part of the Bulletin Place laneway into a boozy, caffeinated oasis.
For three nights from Thursday 15 March, the award-winning coffee liqueur and bar will team up and unveil a pop-up caffeine bar and station, showcasing limited-edition bespoke caffeine cocktails as well as exquisite coffee-liqueur infused experimental desserts designed by international Michelin Star-experienced chef Raphael Szurek.
The cocktail list will feature some never-before-seen medleys of ingredients at Three Bottle Man, including a signature cocktail featuring Mr. Black’s newest Coffee Amaro.
“Australia is home to the world’s greatest coffee culture,” says Mr Black co-founder Tom Baker, “and the Three Bottle Man take-over is all about taking that culture into the night.”
“There’s more to the coffee-based cocktail canon than just the espresso martini. As it turns out, coffee is just as at home in a Negroni as it is in a cocktail with a splash of red wine or tropical fruit.”
The limited, curated list of beverages and desserts come in at a flat-rate of $15 per item, and will be designed to showcase coffee’s versatility as an ingredient.
